RIYA KUMAR | COMPOSER

NYU SUMMER INTENSIVE
Riya was awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious month-long 2022 NYU Film and TV Scoring Intensive in New York. She was the youngest participant in this industry-focused intensive, primarily aimed toward professional composers and graduate/undergraduate students. The workshop intensives were led by well-known Film and TV composers to simulate the fast turnaround of real-world scenarios with daily cue submission requirements and critiques by the original composers in front of all the participants. Due to the confidential nature of the video material used for the program, none of the corresponding film footage can be shared.
