Homeward Bound was one of the several briefs commissioned by Al Jazeera for revamping their global news network's sonic branding to celebrate their Silver Jubilee Anniversary. Riya's (aged 16) score was selected amongst several submissions to the brief. Having won the brief, the VST solo violin portion was replaced with live violin performed by Diane Kitzman, Principal Violinist, Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
